Hypoactive sexual desire disorder
It is the ongoing lack of sexual fantasies or thoughts. A person suffering with hypoactive sexual desire disorder does not have a desire for sex and is not interested in the sexual advances of a partner, despite the fact that their physical sexual response is intact.
Treatment goals
The treatment will focus on treating the maintaining factors of the disorder. In addition, these other issues will be addressed:
- Increasing sexual desire with a progressive approximation to sexual stimuli.
- Disadataptive beliefs about sex and routine elements.
- Communication of the couple.
- Problem Resolution.

- Other psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, etc.
